§29.1517 Limiting height-speed envelope

For Category A rotorcraft, if a range of hei ghts exists at any speed, including zero, within which it is not possi ble t o m ake a safe landing following power fai lure, t he range of hei ghts and its variation wi th forward speed must be established, together with an y o ther pertinent information, such as the kind of landing surface.
