Coolant tanks shall be supported in a manner so as to distribute the tank loads over a large portion of the tank surface. Pads shall be provided to prevent chafing between the tank and the support. Material used for padding shall be nonabsorbent or shall be treated to prevent the absorption of inflammable fluids.
