§3.690 Fuses or circuit breakers.

If electrical equipment is installed, protective devices (fuses or circuit breakers) shall be installed in the circuits to all electrical equipment, except that such items need not be installed in the main circuits of starter motors or in other circuits where no hazard is presented by their omission.
