The equipment specified in § 3.655 shall be the minimum installed when the airplane is submitted to determine its compliance with the airworthiness requirements. Such additional equipment as is necessary for a specific type of operation is specified in other pertinent parts of the Civil Air Regulations, but, where necessary, its installation and that of the items mentioned in § 3.655 is covered herein.
