Power-plant controls shall comply with the provisions of §§ 3.384 and 3.759. Controls shall maintain any necessary position without constant attention by the flight personnel and shall not tend to creep due to control loads or vibration. Flexible controls shall be of an acceptable type. Controls shall have adequate strength and rigidity to withstand operating loads without failure or excessive deflection.
