The oil tank outlet shall not be enclosed or covered by any screen or other guard which might impede the flow of oil. The diameter of the oil tank outlet shall not be less than the diameter of the engine oil pump inlet. (See also § 3.577.) LINES, FITTINGS, AND ACCESSORIES
