All control systems shall be provided with stops which positively limit the range of motion of the control surfaces. Stops shall be so located in the system that wear, slackness, or take-up adjustments will not appreciably affect the range of surface travel. Stops shall be capable of withstanding the loads corresponding to the design conditions for the control system.
